Field Trip

I recently took Cane on a mini vacation away from the kennel. He is a littermate to my Riley. Cane is a handsome brindle. He enjoyed playing with squeaky stuffed animals and had a great time on the hike my husband took him on. He would be a great walking (or possibly jogging) companion. He crated easily and quietly. No complaints from Cane. He loved the stuffed Kongs we gave him and he ate well. Cane got along fine with my 6 greyhounds and did well in a small dog introduction.

Cane is excellent choice for someone who does not currently have another dog and works full time. His confident and independent nature makes separation anxiety unlikely. Some greyhounds have a tough time being alone for long hours, but Cane has the right personality for such a transition. We, of course, hope that you will eventually adopt a 2nd greyhound.

When Cane comes out of the kennel, he tends to look for toys and food. He may not pay much attention to the people trying to interact with him while he is at the kennel. He is not a greyhound that is going to appear immediately drawn to you, but he a really nice dog that I believe will settle very well into home life and will fall in love with his new family soon after.
